Mathikere is a very lively part of town, mostly because Ramaiah College is just a short walk away. We are located at No 21 in the Ramachandra Arcade. Our office is on the 2nd Floor. Being right on the 2nd Cross means we are in the middle of all the local action. The arcade itself has many different shops and small businesses, so there are always people moving through the hallways. We have several rooms filled with networking equipment like routers, cables, and some older servers that hum loudly. It usually smells a bit like warm electronics and dust in the classrooms. We get a lot of students coming in from the nearby college to learn. The furniture we use is very basic—just long wooden tables and some plastic chairs. It’s a learning environment, so it’s often quite noisy with people discussing server settings or network configurations. We have a small reception desk at the entrance, but it’s usually covered in notebooks and spare parts. The windows look out onto a street that is always busy with students and local food vendors. Sometimes the power goes out, and the whole building goes silent for a moment before the backup power kicks in. We don’t have any glossy brochures or fancy displays. It’s just a practical, functional place where people come to learn about technology. We spend our days setting up labs and helping students figure out how things connect.
