Living and working around Kaveri Nagar in Banshankari 3 has its own pace. My name is on the door, Rajesh N Ballu, and this is where I spend most of my waking hours. It’s a pretty residential feel around here compared to the main city hubs. You can hear the local vendors passing by on the street outside shouting about vegetables. I’ve got a small desk that faces the window so I can see the trees and the neighbors walking their dogs in the morning. The room is small, just enough for me and maybe a couple of chairs for anyone who stops by to chat. I don’t use a lot of high-tech gadgets, just my computer and a lot of notebooks. I’ve always preferred writing things down by hand. The walls are a pale yellow color that’s starting to peel a bit near the corner where the rain seeped in last monsoon. I haven't gotten around to painting it yet. Usually, the mornings are for catching up on emails and the afternoons are for meetings or just thinking through the next project. There is a small tea shop just down the road where I go when I need a break from the screen. It’s a simple setup, nothing too flashy, just a place to get things done without too much fuss. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, but otherwise, it’s a quiet and steady place to be. I’ve been here for years and the view hasn't changed much.
