Baldwin Polytechnic College

We are situated at 14 Hosur Road in the Richmond Town area of Bangalore. It’s right next to the Johnson Market, so it’s a very central and busy location. The building is an old one with a lot of history to it. You can feel the age of the place when you walk through the corridors. Because we are a polytechnic, we have different labs and workshops where students spend a lot of their time. These rooms are filled with tools, machines, and workbenches that have seen a lot of use over the years. The noise from Hosur Road is almost constant, with vehicles buzzing past all day long. Students often head over to the market during their breaks to grab something to eat. The classrooms have high ceilings and large windows, which helps with the Bangalore heat. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is on hands-on work. We don’t have a huge, modern campus, but we have enough space for the different departments. The staff room is always busy with instructors planning out the next practical sessions. It’s a bit of a maze inside the building if you aren't used to it, with different wings and levels. We just keep things running as they always have, focusing on the technical side of things without much fuss or extra decoration. It is a steady place to work and learn.
