BALC Computer Training Institutes

BALC is located in Seshadripuram at No 187 on the second floor of the Abc Arcade. If you are walking down SC Road, you will see our sign near the old Nataraja Theater. That theater is a major landmark for anyone who has lived in this part of town for a while. We’ve been operating from this specific spot for quite some time. The building is a typical Bangalore commercial block with those narrow hallways. Inside our space, it’s mostly just rows of computers and people staring at their screens. We teach things like basic typing, accounting software, and some graphic design too. It is a very practical place to be. We don't have any plush carpets or expensive coffee machines in the corner. We just have sturdy chairs that have been sat in by hundreds of different students over the years. Some of the keyboards have the letters worn off from use, but they still work perfectly fine for practice. It gets a bit loud when the theater crowd is coming out or when the traffic picks up on SC Road during the evening rush. We usually have a mix of younger kids and older adults who want to learn how to use a computer for the very first time in their lives. It’s nice to see them lose that initial fear of clicking the wrong button. We just keep our heads down and help whoever walks in through the door.
