Bake N Cake

Bake N Cake is located at 466 in the Koramangala Hadapsar Industrial Estate area. Being in an industrial zone means we see a lot of workers and people in a hurry. We started this place because we saw there wasn't much around here for people to grab something quick. It’s not a fancy bakery with glass displays and mood lighting. It’s more of a practical shop where the smell of bread usually hits you before you even get through the door. We start very early, usually while it's still dark, to get the ovens going. By the time the sun is up, we’re already covered in flour. Our equipment is old but it works well enough. Sometimes the oven door sticks, or we have to jiggle the handle on the front door to get it to lock properly. We don't have a website or a social media person. We just rely on the people who work in the nearby factories and offices. If the cakes look a little different each day, it’s because we make them by hand. We aren't trying to be the most popular place in town. We just want to provide something decent for the folks working around here. It's a lot of lifting heavy bags of sugar and flour, but we're used to it. We just keep the ovens hot and the shelves stocked as best as we can manage.
