Disha Print & Publishing

We operate out of the Vijendra Building, right at No. 05 in Mallappa Layout. Babushapalya is a fairly quiet area, but our shop stays pretty active with the sound of printers going. We do a lot of different publishing work here, from small pamphlets to bigger print runs. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes because of all the paper stacks and boxes waiting to be picked up. We’ve got a couple of machines that take up most of the room, and there is always that specific smell of ink and fresh paper in the air. People from the neighborhood come in when they need things copied or bound. We also handle some bigger layout jobs for local businesses. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical workspace where we can focus on getting the lines straight and the colors looking okay. Sometimes we’re working late to finish a batch for a deadline the next morning. It’s just us doing the work, checking the proofs, and making sure the machines don’t jam up. You can find us easily enough in the layout; just look for the building name. We’ve been here long enough that most of the local shops know where to send people if they need printing done. It’s a decent living and we like being part of the community here. The noise of the press is just part of our daily life now.
