B R Gopala Rao & Co has been sitting here at 1212 in the Rajajinagar Industrial Estate for a while now. If you are coming down this way, you just look for Vani School and we are right near there. The industrial estate gets pretty busy during the day with all the trucks and people moving around, but that is just how things go in this part of town. Our office isn't anything fancy or shiny, it’s just a place where we get the work done. Some days the traffic on the main road is a bit much, but once you get inside the estate it settles down a little. We have been in this spot long enough that the local tea stall guy knows exactly how we like our drinks. It is a practical location for what we do. You walk into the building and you can tell it's a working space. There are papers and desks and the usual sounds of an office running. We don't spend much time worrying about how the walls look as long as the work is moving forward. Rajajinagar is a good area to be in because everything you need is just a short walk or a quick scooter ride away. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit but we just wait it out or find something else to do until it comes back on. It is just the way things are here. We just stay focused on the tasks we have for the day.
