B M Katti & Co is based at 15 Vijaya Nagar. We are in the Country Park area, right on Dattapada Road. Our office is on the 1st floor. It’s a decent location, and having the park nearby makes the air feel a little fresher than in the center of the city. We have a simple routine here. We come in, check what needs to be done for the day, and get to it. The office itself is quite plain. We have some plants on the windowsills that one of the staff members brought in to make it look a bit more lively, but otherwise, it is all business. Dattapada Road can get busy with commuters, but our floor stays relatively peaceful. We don't go in for any of that modern office design; we just use what we have. B M Katti & Co is a place where people know each other by name. We don't have a lot of formal meetings; we just talk across the desks when something comes up. Lunchtime is usually when we all sit together for a bit before getting back to the files. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we have to wait for it to come back on, which gives us a chance to stretch our legs. It’s a modest way to earn a living, and we are quite content with the way things are set up here in Vijaya Nagar. We don't feel the need to move somewhere bigger because this place has everything we actually need to get through our daily tasks.
