It’s just us here at 143 Jayanagar 9th Block in Chakala. Most days start with the sound of the traffic outside and the shutters going up on the shops nearby. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we first moved in. It’s a busy corner of the world. Inside the office, things are usually pretty quiet except for the sound of someone typing or flipping through some old files. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or high-tech coffee machines, just a few desks and some chairs that have seen better days. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever got around to it. Sometimes the rain gets loud against the windows during the monsoon and we have to speak up a bit more. Most people find us because they live nearby or they’ve walked past the building a hundred times. We keep our hours pretty steady and try to stay organized, even when the paperwork starts to pile up on the corner desk. It’s a small operation. We know the guy who sells tea down the street and most of the other folks working in the block. There isn't much to say other than we show up, do what needs to be done, and then head home when the sun goes down. It is just a regular place where work happens every day without much fuss or bother for anyone.
