Ayur Deepam

Ayur Deepam is tucked away in Yelahanka, specifically in the Mig 1st Block. If you are coming down 1st A Main Road, we are at No. 9. Most people use the Sharvathi Bus Stop as a landmark because it’s really close by. Also, if you find yourself at the Canara Bank, just look across the street and you will see us. The place isn't very big, but it fits everything we need for Ayurvedic work. We have shelves full of different oils and dried herbs that we use for the treatments. It smells quite strongly of eucalyptus and sesame oil most of the time, which some people like and others find a bit much at first. We don't have a big reception desk or fancy uniforms here. It is just a few of us who know the traditional ways of doing things. Some days are slow, giving us time to prep the medicines, while other days we have people coming in one after another from the neighborhood. Yelahanka has grown so much lately, but this little corner stays fairly quiet compared to the main roads. We mostly see local residents who have lived here for decades. You might have to wait a bit if we are finishing up with someone else, but there are chairs. It’s a simple setup where we focus on the oils and the herbs without any of the extra fluff you see in big city centers.
