Avon Casting (P) Ltd.

We’ve been running Avon Casting (P) Ltd for quite a while now. Our place is at B-20 in the Iti Industrial Estate. It’s right on Whitefield Road in the Mahadevpura area. If you know the area, you know the traffic can be a real headache, especially during the morning rush. Our shed is pretty basic. It’s full of metal, sand molds, and the smell of the furnace. We mostly do casting work. It’s hot and dusty, but that’s how this kind of work goes. We have a small group of guys who have been with us for years. They know exactly how to handle the molten metal. We don’t have any fancy office space or a big lobby. There’s just a small desk where we keep the records and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them. It’s just part of the routine. We don’t go in for big advertisements. Usually, people find us because they need a specific part cast and heard we could do it. We try to keep our head down and just focus on the orders we have. The tea shop at the corner of the estate is where we usually take our breaks. It’s a simple life. We start early and finish when the work is done. It's not a corporate setup, just a local business doing what it knows.
