Aura Designs

Aura Designs is located inside Shree Pati Castle at Khetwadi 116, which is part of the Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar area. It’s a bit of an old-school building but it has a lot of character and history to it. We’ve been working out of this space for some time now and it suits our style. We do a lot of design work here, though the office itself might look a bit cluttered to an outsider. We have samples and sketches lying all over the place, and our pinboards are always full. It’s just how we work best. We aren’t a big agency with a receptionist and a fancy coffee machine in the lobby. Usually, you’ll just find one of us hunched over a drawing or talking on the phone to a supplier. We take our work seriously but we don’t feel the need to be formal or stiff about it. The neighborhood of Khetwadi is always buzzing with activity, and there’s always something interesting happening just outside the door. We like being in a place that feels lived-in and real. It gives us a bit of inspiration, even if we don't realize it during the busy hours. We’ve made a lot of friends in the building over the years, from the other tenants to the security guard. If you’re looking for us, just head to Shree Pati Castle. We are usually there from morning until late evening, just plugging away at whatever project is on the desk. It’s a simple setup that works for us.
