Atelier Architects

You can find us at number 11 on Gangadhar Chetty Road, right near the Ulsoor area. It is a decent spot to work from. The building itself is nothing special, just a regular place where we have set up our desks and drafting boards. Atelier Architects is really just a handful of us who like drawing buildings. We get a lot of noise from the street sometimes, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our workspace is usually a bit of a disaster with papers and half-empty mugs, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time talking about walls and windows and where the sun is going to hit a room at three in the afternoon. It is mostly technical stuff that would probably bore most people. We do not have any slick marketing brochures to hand out. Usually, we just show people what we are currently working on. It feels more honest that way. Ulsoor is a nice part of town, and being on Gangadhar Chetty Road means we are fairly easy to get to, even if the traffic is a bit much during rush hour. We have had people come in with just a rough sketch on a napkin, and we try to turn that into something real that can actually be built. It takes a lot of back and forth, but that is just part of the process. We just keep our heads down and do the drawings as best as we can.
