Atelier Architects Pvt Ltd is located over at No.11 on Gangadhar Chetty Road. We are right near Ulsoor Lake, which is a nice landmark for people who haven't visited us before. If you pass by Sundar Driving School on St Johns Road, you are basically right there. The office has a bit of an older feel to it, which we like. It’s not one of those glass buildings you see everywhere now. During the monsoon, the street can get a bit messy, but that is part of being in this neighborhood. We have been working from this address for a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the area. The sounds of the driving school students trying to park their cars sometimes drift in through the windows. It’s funny to watch them sometimes when we take a break. We keep our space simple. There are drawing boards and computer screens everywhere. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work somehow. Most of us take turns making coffee in the small kitchen area. There is a lot of back and forth between the staff about different projects. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. It’s more about having a place to sit down and get the work done. The lake is a short walk away if we ever need to clear our heads after a long afternoon of staring at plans. We stay busy with the drawings.
