Out here at the 12th Mile on Bellary Road, things feel a bit different than they do in the middle of the city. We are based in Venkatala, which is part of Yelahanka, and the address is No.5-1 D. It’s a bit of a drive for some of the folks who work here, but we’ve grown used to the commute and the way the air feels a little more open on this side of town. Being a pharmaceutical spot, there is always a lot of coordination going on between the different teams. We spend a lot of time on the phones and at our desks, making sure the distributions and the paperwork are all lined up correctly. The building isn’t brand new, but it serves us well and has plenty of space for what we need to accomplish. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but that is just part of being in this part of the world. We don’t have any fancy cafes inside, just a simple break room where we eat our lunch and catch up on news. It’s a practical workspace for the Astrazeneca team. Most of us have been here long enough that we know the best local spots to grab a quick snack or avoid the heaviest traffic times. We just try to stay efficient and keep things running without making a big deal out of it. There is always something to do, but we take it one day at a time.
