Associated Plating Equipments

Associated Plating Equipments is situated on Chamundiswari Temple Street, down the 3rd Cross on 11th Main in Hongasandra. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you aren't from this part of town. We work on plating machines and the various gear that goes with them. The shop is full of tanks, wires, and bits of metal everywhere. It smells like a workshop should. We spend a lot of time tinkering with old equipment to make it run better for the users. Being near the temple means we hear the bells and the prayers while we are working, which is a nice change from the sound of the machines. We don't have a big team. It's just a few of us who know how these specific things are supposed to work. Most of our customers are other small businesses who need their parts coated or fixed. It can be slow work sometimes because you have to be very careful with the chemicals and the timing. We have a lot of tea breaks to escape the fumes for a bit. The office is just a small corner with a computer that barely works half the time. We don't mind it though. It’s a quiet enough street most days except when there is a festival at the temple. Then the whole road gets blocked and we just have to wait. That’s life.
