Our firm is situated in the Kscmf Building on Cunningham Road. We are in MSB 1, right next to the Chandrika Hotel, which is a great landmark because everyone knows their food. Aslam Architects & Interior Designs Pvt Ltd has been around this part of Bangalore for quite some time. The building itself is an older one, which gives our office a bit of character that you don't find in those new glass towers. We have got plenty of space for all our drafting tables and the piles of project files that seem to grow every week. Working on Cunningham Road is interesting because it is such a busy hub, yet our office stays relatively quiet once you get inside. We spend our hours drawing up plans and talking through different ways to build things. It is not always smooth sailing; sometimes a design doesn't work out the way we thought it would on paper, so we have to start over. We don't try to sound like a big corporate machine. We are just architects and designers who care about the structures we put our names on. There is a lot of history in this neighborhood, and we like being a small part of it. Most of our clients just drop by after having lunch next door, and we sit down to talk through their ideas without any formality or pressure.
