Ashok Marketing is located at number 93/2 on R T Street, right near the Bvk Iyengar Road Cross. If you know that area, you know how packed it gets. There are people everywhere. The noise from the traffic never really stops. Our shop is tucked in there among many others. Inside, boxes are stacked up almost to the ceiling. The desk stays covered in bills and notes that we haven't gotten around to filing yet. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. We’ve been at this R T Street spot for a long time. Over the years, we've seen the shops around us change owners over and over. Keeping to our routine of opening up, checking the stock, and dealing with whoever walks through the door is what we do. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking sound that we’ve stopped noticing. Sometimes it gets so hot in the afternoons that a cold drink from the stall around the corner is necessary. No big marketing plans exist for us. We just do our work and try to keep things organized in our own way. It’s a busy life in a busy part of town. There is always something needing to be moved or signed. We just keep at it every day until it's time to close the shutters and go home to get some rest.
