Using the gas agency as a landmark is usually the best way to explain where we are to visitors. Odhav Road is always busy with trucks and vans, so there’s a lot of movement. The office is a bit of a walk from the bus stop, but it’s not too bad. We have a small space that we’ve made our own over the years. It’s not huge, but it fits everything we need. There’s a small area in the back where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for breaks. The front room is where all the actual work happens. It’s a bit cluttered with folders and drawings, but we know where everything is. The light is okay in the mornings, though it gets a bit dark in the afternoon. We don’t have fancy lighting or designer chairs. It’s just a place to work. Basaveshwara Nagar is a good spot to be in, even with all the traffic. You see the same people walking past every day, which is nice. We just show up every morning and see what the day brings our way. It’s a simple life, and we don’t try to make it anything it isn’t.
