Ashapuri Saw Mills

You can find Ashapuri Saw Mills at 14A in the New Timber Yard Layout, right off Mysore Road. This whole area is dedicated to wood, so the sound of saws and the smell of fresh timber are everywhere. Mysore Road is always a bit of a nightmare with the traffic and the construction, but once you get into the layout, it’s all about the logs and the planks. We spend our days cutting wood to size and moving heavy stacks around. Our mill is a practical space with large machines and plenty of sawdust on the floor. It’s a messy job, but we like it. We deal with all kinds of customers, from big builders to local carpenters looking for a specific piece of teak or pine. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s just a small cabin with a desk where we handle the bills. Most of the time we are out on the floor making sure the cuts are straight. It’s loud and it can be tiring, but there’s something good about working with your hands. We’ve been in this layout for years, and we know most of the other mill owners around here. We just show up, do the cutting, and load the trucks. It’s a straightforward business without any unnecessary complications or fluff. If you don't mind getting a little sawdust on your shoes, you'll find us working here until sunset.
