A.S. Crane Services is located right on the Main Road in Ram Murthy Nagar, at A27/6. Being on the main road makes it easier for us to move the big rigs in and out, though the traffic in Banaswadi can be a real headache. We’ve been operating from this spot for a good while. It’s a family-run kind of thing, mostly. We don’t have a lot of fancy titles or a corporate structure. One of us drives, another handles the rigging, and we all take turns with the maintenance. Keeping those cranes running takes a lot of effort because the parts are heavy and expensive. We spend a lot of time covered in oil and grease. It’s not the kind of job you do if you want to stay clean. We help out with a lot of local building projects or moving heavy containers. Some days the phone rings constantly, and other days it’s quiet enough to catch up on repairs. We don't have a website with a bunch of stock photos. What you see is what you get. We’ve got our cranes parked out back and a small desk where we keep our logs. It’s practical work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot from our spot on Main Road, but we just keep doing what we know. It’s about showing up on time and making sure the load is secure before it leaves the ground. We just keep moving forward with the work.
