Arun Electronics & Communications is located on S.P. Road, specifically at 149/150 on the first floor. If you’ve ever been to S.P. Road, you know it’s a total maze of wires and gadgets. Our shop is up a flight of stairs, away from the immediate crush of the street, but you can still hear all the noise from below. We have shelves packed with communication gear and small electronic parts. It’s a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of things in stock. Most days are spent digging through bins to find a specific connector or a cable someone asked for. It’s a lot of manual work, checking items against invoices and keeping the dust off the equipment. The light in here isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is. People come up the stairs looking for things they can’t find anywhere else. We just point them to the right shelf or look it up in our ledgers. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the door open to get a bit of a breeze. We’ve been in this spot long enough that we don’t really notice the chaos outside anymore. It’s just a regular day of handling electronics and talking to the people who drop by. We’re just a small part of the big market on this road and we keep things simple here.
