You can find Arun Electric Corporation on the 2nd floor of the Pobbathi Building. We are located on the 4th Cross in Chickpet, which is one of the busiest market areas you’ll ever see. Getting to our place involves navigating through narrow lanes and lots of people carrying bundles. It’s a bit of a workout just reaching the stairs. Once you get up to the second floor, it’s a bit quieter than the street level, but you can still hear the shouting of the vendors below. We’ve been in Chickpet for many years and have seen the market change quite a bit. Our shop is mostly filled with electrical supplies and various parts. We don't have much in the way of decoration; the shelves are the main focus here. Every day we deal with people looking for specific wires or switches that they can't find elsewhere. It’s a lot of manual searching through stock. We don't use fancy software for everything; we still rely a lot on memory and handwritten notes. The Pobbathi Building is an old structure, but it’s sturdy. We spend our days answering the phone and helping the folks who manage to find their way up to our floor. It’s a basic setup, no frills at all. We just provide the electrical goods that people need for their projects and keep the business running as best we can.
