If you are looking for us, we are up on the second floor above Honey Bakery in Indiranagar. The stairs are a bit narrow, and you can always smell the fresh bread and cakes when you arrive, which makes us hungry all day. Our office is Unit 2-A. It’s a bit crowded in here because we have so many catalogs and fabric swatches lying on every flat surface. We do a lot of interior work, mostly just trying to figure out how to make a small apartment feel a bit bigger. It gets busy on 5th Main, and sometimes finding a place to park is a total nightmare. We spend our mornings on the phone with vendors and our afternoons sketching out ideas. We aren't trying to be some fancy design studio with glass walls; we just have our desks and our computers. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we just sit there waiting, or we talk about the latest project. We’ve been here on the first stage of Indiranagar for a while. It’s a good spot despite the noise from the street. People come in with photos of what they like, and we try to tell them what will actually work in their space. It’s a lot of practical talk about plywood and paint. We just keep busy and try to get the jobs finished on time. It’s a regular office with regular people doing their best with what they’ve got. We stay until the work is done.
