We’re located at No. 28 in the Ezekiel Industrial Estate, which is right in the middle of Kadugondanahalli. Most people find our shop pretty easily because we’re directly opposite the Amir Function Hall. If there’s a big wedding or a party going on over there, the whole street gets blocked up with cars and people, but otherwise, it’s a pretty standard industrial stretch of road. Our workshop is full of metal scraps, heavy welding machines, and the constant, high-pitched sound of grinding steel. It’s loud, and there’s usually sparks flying somewhere in the back corner. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a place to display finished work. If you come by to see us, you’ll probably find the whole team in their work clothes, covered in a bit of soot or gray metal dust. The office is just a small corner with a metal table and a couple of mismatched chairs where we sit and talk to people about what they need us to build. We’ve been here long enough that all the neighbors know the sound of our machines. The heat from the torches makes it pretty warm inside during the afternoons, so we keep the big rolling shutters open most of the day to let a little breeze in. It’s a practical kind of life, just making things out of steel and iron and checking the measurements twice. No fuss, just a lot of hard work and keeping the tools running every single day.
