Appolo Packers & Movers

We are located at Shop No. 9 in the Corporation Market over in Wilson Garden. It’s a busy area and things start early around here. Appolo Packers & Movers is basically a local setup. We spend our mornings loading up the small tempos and checking if we have enough corrugated sheets for the day’s work. Wilson Garden has some narrow streets, so you have to be a pretty good driver to get a truck in and out without hitting anything. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy wardrobes and trying not to stub your toe on a bed frame. We don't have a big HR department or fancy uniforms. It’s just us in our regular clothes, getting dirty and moving boxes. The shop is small and usually smells a bit like old paper and diesel from the trucks parked outside. We deal with people who are usually stressed out because they are leaving their old homes. We just try to get the packing done so they can move on. There is no magic to it, just wrapping things in bubble wrap and carrying them down the stairs. It’s a hard way to make a living, but it’s what we know. By the end of the week, everyone is pretty beat, but the work keeps coming in so we keep showing up.
