Annai Digital Designers & Printers is located at No. 9/2 on the second floor of Shri Skanda Arcade in Kothanur. We’ve been in this building for a few years now. Being on the second floor means we don't get as many walk-ins as the shops downstairs, but we have our regular customers who know where to find us. The climb up the stairs is good exercise, though some people complain about it. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our printing machines. It can get a bit loud when everything is running at once. We do a lot of design work on the computers before we actually print anything out. Kothanur is a growing area, so we see a lot of new businesses popping up that need cards or flyers. We aren't a massive printing house with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us. We spend our days staring at colors on the screen and making sure the ink levels are okay. Sometimes the machines jam and we have to spend an hour fixing them, which is frustrating but part of the job. We don't have a reception area with coffee or anything, just some plastic chairs for when people need to wait. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and get the printing done. We have a small balcony where we keep empty paper boxes. From up here, we can see the traffic.
