Animaster Academy

We’ve been running Animaster Academy for a while now over here in Seshadripuram. If you know the Maruthi car showroom on Sankey Road, we are right above that on the third floor of Uniworth Plaza. It is a pretty busy spot, right next to the Nandhini Hotel, so there is always some smell of food drifting around during lunch time. We spend most of our days working with students who want to learn about drawing, 2D and 3D animation, and all that graphic design stuff. The rooms are filled with computers and drawing boards, and it can get a bit loud when everyone is talking at once or trying to finish a project. We started this because we liked the idea of a space where people could just sit and create things without too much fuss. It isn't a fancy corporate office, just a place with desks and people working hard on their portfolios. Sometimes the lift in Uniworth Plaza takes a minute, so most of us just end up taking the stairs. We deal with a lot of young people who are trying to figure out their careers in art. It’s mostly just us helping them get the hang of the software and the basic rules of animation. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just a few instructors and staff members who keep the place running every day from morning until evening. It is a simple setup but it works for what we do.
