Anbu & Associates

You can find Anbu & Associates over in Langford Town on D V G Road 21. It’s a relatively quiet part of the city compared to the madness of the markets. The building is one of those older ones with high ceilings and tall windows that let in the breeze. We have a few big wooden desks and chairs that don't quite match. Our files are kept in old steel cupboards that have a specific smell of old paper. There are four of us working here most days. We don't have a big fancy sign out front, just a small brass plate that we try to polish once a month. The neighborhood has a lot of big trees, so it stays cool even in the summer. We spend our mornings going through documents and answering emails. It’s a lot of quiet work, punctuated by the sound of the doorbell or the tea guy coming by. We like the pace here. It’s not about being the biggest firm in town. It’s more about knowing the people who walk through our door. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for hours, and other times it’s just us staring at the ceiling and thinking. DVG Road is a nice place to be, and number 21 has been our base for a long time. We don't plan on moving anywhere else. It’s just a steady, honest place to work. We usually have some biscuits with our tea in the afternoon and talk about things other than work for a bit.
