Ananthagiri Prasad

I’m set up here in Bangalore at Venkatesh’s place in the 560037 zip code area. It’s more of a personal operation than anything else. I don’t have a big sign outside or a lobby with a receptionist. Most of what I do involves sitting at the desk and handling whatever paperwork or requests come through the door or the phone. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, though the Bangalore traffic usually finds its way nearby eventually. People who know me just come by the house. It’s a simple arrangement that works for what I need to do every day. I’ve lived in Karnataka for a long time so I know my way around the local system pretty well. Ananthagiri Prasad isn't a name you'll see on a billboard. It's just me working through my lists and making sure things get done for the people who ask. The room is a bit small but it fits my computer and all the files I have to keep. Sometimes the internet is slow and I have to wait around, but that gives me time to walk down the street and get a coffee. It’s a regular life and a regular way to work. I don't feel the need to make it more complicated than it is. Most days are just about finishing the tasks on the table and getting ready for tomorrow. It's a steady pace here and I wouldn't have it any other way really.
