Being out here at Plot No. 61 in Electronics City means we’re right in the middle of Bangalore’s tech hub. The traffic getting here in the morning can be a real headache, but once you’re inside the gates, things settle down into a regular routine. We focus on the electronics side of things, specifically interconnects. The building is set up to handle a lot of technical work, so there are wires and components everywhere you look. It’s a clean environment because the stuff we work on is pretty sensitive. We have a lot of people working different shifts to keep things moving along. It’s not a flashy place, just a lot of workstations and testing equipment. Sometimes we have meetings to talk about the production schedule, but mostly we just get on with it. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. The focus is always on the benches and the parts being assembled. Electronics City has changed a lot since we first got here, with new buildings popping up all the time. Despite all the changes outside, our work remains pretty much the same day to day. We just try to keep the quality up and make sure everyone knows what they’re supposed to be doing. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We just focus on the little things that make the big machines work.
