AMITH GARMENT SERVICES

Amith Garment Services is located over here in Nagendra Block, right on the corner of 2nd ‘C’ Cross and 7th Main. This part of Bsk 1st Stage is a mix of houses and small businesses, so it feels a lot more like a neighborhood than an industrial zone. We’ve been operating out of this building for a long time. It’s not a huge space, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. You’ll find rolls of fabric tucked under the tables and a couple of iron stations that are usually going all day. The air always smells a bit like steam and fresh cotton. We don’t have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one that lets people know they’ve found the right spot. Neighbors often walk past and wave while we’re unloading supplies from the back of a truck. Sometimes the delivery vans block the narrow street for a minute, and we have to go out and help them navigate. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through a pile of service requests. We don’t have much in the way of a lobby, just a chair or two for anyone who needs to wait. It’s a humble setup, but it works for what we do. We try to keep things organized, even though the piles of cloth seem to grow on their own sometimes. It’s a busy life, but we like being part of this local community and seeing familiar faces every day.
