Amith Garment Services

We are located at 231, on the 2nd 'C' Cross in Nagendra Block. This is part of B. S. K 1'St Stage. Amith Garment Services is basically a workshop where we deal with clothes all day long. There are sewing machines, ironing boards, and piles of fabric everywhere you look. It’s a bit crowded but that’s because we always have something on the go. The 7th Main is usually busy with cars and bikes, but our cross is a little quieter. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. People from the neighborhood bring in their garments for whatever needs doing. We spend a lot of time bent over the machines. It’s hard on the back, but we like seeing a finished piece of clothing. We don’t have a big storefront with mannequins. It’s more of a place where the actual work happens. Sometimes we’re working on a big order for a local shop, and other times it’s just small individual repairs. We don’t use any fancy technology, just the standard tools that have worked for years. It’s just us here at Amith Garment Services. We start early and stay until the day's work is finished. It’s a honest way to earn a living in B. S. K. and we've got a routine that works. Most days we just listen to the radio while we work through the pile of sewing.
