Ambika School Of Nursing

Our nursing school is located at No. 665-B in R T Nagar, over in the Gunda Reddy Layout part of Cholanayakanahalli. It’s a neighborhood spot, mostly surrounded by houses and small shops. We spend our days teaching students the basics of nursing care. You’ll see people in uniforms walking around, practicing how to take blood pressure or move patients. We have some practice beds and some medical equipment that we use for the lessons. It isn't a brand new facility with shiny floors, but we keep it tidy and everything works like it should. The instructors here have spent a lot of time working in actual hospitals, so they have plenty of stories to tell the students about what the job is really like. It’s hard work, and we don't sugarcoat it. There is a lot of studying and a lot of hands-on practice involved. We have a small common area where students sit and chat between their classes. Sometimes the water cooler runs out or the printer jams when everyone is trying to print their assignments at once, but we manage to get through it. It’s a simple, down-to-earth place for people who want to get into the healthcare field. We’ve been part of this community for a while and most of our students live nearby or take the bus in. We usually keep the main door open during the day so a bit of a breeze comes through the hallway when the weather is nice.
