Amar Kala Commercial Arts

Our place, Amar Kala Commercial Arts, is in Building Number 23 on 6th Cross. We are right in Malleshwaram, which is always a busy area. Sampige Road is usually packed with people shopping, so it gets quite lively around here during the day. We have been in this building for many years. It's a bit of a walk up the stairs, but we don't mind the climb. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but this street still feels the same to us. We do a lot of commercial art stuff for the shops nearby. Our workspace is filled with old brushes, paint tins, and half-finished boards. It's not a fancy studio, just a place where we get things done. Sometimes the noise from the market outside is quite loud, but it helps us keep moving. We mostly just work with the local businesses around Malleshwaram. Everyone knows everyone here. We don't really have a website, just our name on the door. People usually just walk in because they saw our work somewhere else. We take things one day at a time. It's a bit cramped inside when we have big orders, but we manage. The flower sellers on Sampige Road start early, so by the time we open up, the whole street smells like jasmine and exhaust fumes. It’s a strange mix but we’ve grown to love it. We keep a few old chairs for customers to sit on. It’s just a small shop in a big building.
