We are located in the Peenya Industrial Area, which is where a lot of the heavy lifting in this city happens every day. Our spot is B 181 on the 4th Main Road, specifically in the 2nd Stage. If you’ve ever been to Peenya, you know it’s a maze of factories and small sheds. Altec Industries is just one of many, but we’ve been at this specific location for years. The road can be quite rough with all the big trucks passing through. Inside our gates, it’s mostly just the sound of work. We aren't a big corporation with HR departments and fancy lobbies. We are just a group of people who know how to make things. Most of us have been working here since the beginning. It’s often hot and noisy, but that’s the nature of the industrial area. We get our supplies delivered, do the work, and send it back out. We don't use much fancy language to describe it. It’s just manufacturing. Sometimes we have a quick tea break by the gate and watch the traffic go by. It’s a tough environment but we’ve grown to like it over time. People who come to see us usually know exactly what they are looking for. We don't have a big sign, just the address painted on the wall. It’s a simple, hardworking life here in Peenya. We focus on the machines and the output, and that keeps us busy enough to keep going.
