Alora Printers

Alora Printers is tucked away on Lalbagh Road, specifically at 204, 4th Cross. It’s a busy spot in Bangalore. The machines are usually running most of the day, so there is a constant hum in the background. We started this because we liked the idea of making things you can actually hold. Paper, ink, and a bit of patience. That’s pretty much the whole operation. It gets messy sometimes with the ink and the offcuts from the trimmer. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of employees. It’s just a few of us here making sure the colors look okay and the edges are straight. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine gets jammed, and we have to spend an hour fixing it, but that's just part of the job. People bring in all sorts of files, some are good and some are a bit of a mess, and we try to make them work on paper. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but 4th Cross still feels like home to us. Our regulars usually just drop by and leave their files on a thumb drive. We don't do much fancy advertising. Most people find us because they saw a sign or a friend told them where we were. It’s a simple life, really. Just keeping the rollers clean and making sure the paper doesn't jam. If you're looking for us, we're right near the main road but quiet enough to get work done.
