Allied Motors

Allied Motors is situated inside the Sunder Cmplx over in Kalasipalyam, right on Am Rd. If you know Kalasipalyam, you know it’s the kind of place where something is always happening, usually with a lot of noise and a lot of people moving around. The complex itself is an older building, and we’ve been in our unit for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes, with all the different shops and businesses packed together. We don't have much in the way of a front window, so we rely on the overhead lights to keep the place bright enough to see what we're doing. Am Rd is right outside, and you can hear the buses and the horns constantly. We mostly deal with motor parts and getting things sorted for whoever comes through the door. The floor is concrete and usually has a few scuffs or marks from moving heavy crates around. We keep a couple of old chairs in the corner, though we don’t sit in them much. Most of the day is spent on our feet, checking the inventory or talking to the other shop owners in the complex. It’s a busy life, and the air can get a bit stuffy in the middle of the day, but we’re used to the pace of Kalasipalyam by now. We just focus on getting the work done and closing up at the end of the day, making sure the shutters are locked tight.
