Alif Motor World

Our shop, Alif Motor World, is tucked away in Shivaji Nagar. If you know the area, you know how 8th Cross and 29th Main Road can get. We are at number 85 in the 1st Sector. It’s a lively spot, to say the least. There is always the smell of grease and metal in the air here. We spend most of our days with our hands dirty, dealing with whatever comes through the gate. The floor is usually a bit stained, and the tools aren't always exactly where they should be, but we find them eventually. We aren't interested in looking like a shiny showroom. This is a workspace. When the rain hits Shivaji Nagar, the sound on our roof is so loud we have to shout to hear each other. We’ve got a small bench out front where we sit sometimes when things slow down for a minute. People bring their vehicles in, and we take a look. We tell them what we see without using a bunch of technical jargon they won't understand. It’s just honest work. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; you’ll probably just see one of us wiping our hands on a rag before saying hello. It’s been this way since we opened, and we don’t see much reason to change it now.
