Alankar Tiles Depot

Alankar Tiles Depot is located over at Kodigehalli kandivli east 44 /106. Our yard is usually full of heavy crates and stacks of different tiles piled high. It is not the cleanest place because there is always a bit of dust from the ceramics and the trucks coming in and out. We carry a lot of different patterns, so the shop floor is a bit of a patchwork of whatever we have in stock at the moment. When people come in, they usually spend a lot of time walking around and looking at the ground. We do not have a fancy sales pitch, we just let people look and answer their questions about size or how many boxes they might need for a room. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic and things get delayed, but we try to keep everyone updated as best as we can. It is a lot of physical work, lifting these boxes and loading them into cars or onto small tempos. We keep our accounts in a big ledger on the main desk, which is usually buried under a few tile samples and some pens that do not always work. It is just a regular depot where we try to keep enough stock so people do not have to wait too long. We have been here for a good stretch of time and know most of the local contractors by name and face.
