Akshsid Gardens

We are situated at 159/7 in Uttarahalli, right behind the Bangalore International School. It’s a nice area, a bit quieter than the main roads. We spend our days working with plants and soil. It is a lot of outdoor work, so our schedule usually depends on the sun and the seasons. We have various types of plants growing in the back, and there is always something that needs watering or a bit of trimming. We aren’t a big commercial center. It is more of a local garden space where we tend to things carefully. Sometimes people from the school or the neighborhood stop by to ask about what would grow well in their own small plots. We give them our honest opinion based on what we’ve seen work here. It’s a muddy job sometimes, especially during the monsoon months when everything grows like crazy. We don't have a polished showroom. It’s just us, some shovels, and a lot of pots. We like the work because it’s slow and peaceful compared to the rest of the city. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just show people what we have available. Every plant has its own quirks and we spend a lot of time learning them. It’s a simple life out here behind the school. We just keep planting and hope for the best. Sometimes the monkeys come by and mess up the saplings, which is just part of the deal here. We have a small shed for our tools.
