Akara

Akara is located right in the middle of Chamrajpet 188/2. If you know this part of town, you know it’s got a lot of history and the streets can get pretty narrow. Our place is an old building, the kind with thick walls that stay cool even when the sun is hitting hard outside. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us live close by, so we usually walk or take a scooter to work. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where we spend way too much time talking about the day's tasks. Inside the office, things are pretty simple. We have some wooden desks that have seen better days and a couple of filing cabinets that groan when you open them. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’re usually too busy with the actual work. It’s not always quiet; there’s always someone coming in to drop off a package or ask a question. We’ve stayed in this spot for years because it feels right. People around here know us as the folks at number 188/2. We don’t have big signs or flashing lights. Just a small board out front. Lunch is usually a shared affair in the back room where everyone brings something from home. It’s a bit cramped when we’re all there at once, but it works for us. That’s just the way Akara has always been.
