Akar Interior & Landscape

You can find us in Nagondanhalli, right near the HP Gas Godown in Whitefield. It’s a bit of a dusty area sometimes with all the trucks, but we like it here. Akar Interior & Landscape is our small business where we work on making the inside and outside of buildings look a bit better. We deal with a lot of plants, dirt, furniture, and paint. It’s a weird mix, but it works for us. Our office usually has a few bags of soil in the corner or some fabric swatches spread out over the table. We don't mind the mess because it shows we are actually working. Whitefield has changed a lot lately, and we’ve seen so many new things go up. We try to help people make sense of their spaces. Sometimes a garden needs a better layout, or a living room feels too cramped. We just look at what is there and try to figure out a better way to use it. We don't use any big words or fancy talk to explain what we do. We just listen to what someone wants and then we try to build it. It takes a lot of time and sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, but we always stay until it’s finished. It is just us doing our thing in this corner of the city, helping out where we can. We like seeing a project go from a muddy yard to a nice garden. It makes the long days worth it.
