Our office is tucked away on the first floor of MBC No.134 on Infantry Road. Most people know the HDFC Bank nearby, so that’s usually the landmark we give when someone is trying to find us. It’s unit 107/B. It’s a pretty standard workspace, nothing too flashy. We handle a lot of travel bookings and currency exchange here. Foreign exchange can be a bit of a scramble sometimes because the rates are always moving around, but we just keep an eye on the screen and do the best we can for whoever walks in. Infantry Road gets quite a bit of traffic, especially during the morning rush, so we usually see a lot of people passing by our window. The team here is small, just a few of us sitting at our desks with our tea. We talk to people about their trips, try to figure out the best routes, and count out a lot of notes for the forex side of things. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. It’s a straightforward job. We aren't trying to change the world or anything; we just want to make sure your travel money is ready and your tickets are printed out right.
