Accountant Nisha Thomas

I have been working out of this space in Vinayaka Nagar for a while now. It's on 3rd Main Road, right near the KMPC school in Annasandrapalaya. People around here usually know where the 2nd Cross is. My desk is usually covered in papers and folders because there is always something to sort out. Dealing with taxes and keeping the books straight for people is what I do every day. It gets a bit noisy when the kids are heading to the school nearby, but that’s just part of being in this neighborhood. I handle mostly personal tax stuff and small business accounts. Some people just drop by with a bag of receipts and ask me to make sense of them. It takes time, but I like the puzzle of it. Bangalore can be quite busy, and traffic near the HAL post is often a mess, so I try to get most of my work done early in the morning before things get too hectic. I don't have a big office with fancy chairs or anything. It’s just a practical setup where I can sit down and focus on the numbers. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we manage. Most of my clients are people from the local area who just want someone they can talk to directly. It is easier that way because we can just sit down and go through the files without any fuss. I’ve lived around here for some time so I know the shortcuts and the shops.
