Accountant Amrutha Amrutha

I work in the finance department at Narayana Hrudayalaya, which is located in the Anekal taluk area of Bangalore. My name is Amrutha and I spend my days dealing with the hospital's accounts and billing processes. It’s a very busy environment because there are always patients, doctors, and staff moving around the halls. My desk is tucked away in a corner of the office where I can focus on the spreadsheets without too much distraction. I handle a lot of the numbers that keep the department going every day. The hospital is a huge place, so there’s always a mountain of paperwork to sort through and file correctly. I’ve been here for a while and I’ve gotten used to the constant hum of the medical equipment and the voices in the hallways. I usually take my lunch break in the canteen with the other staff members where we talk about our day. My job isn't about being fancy or corporate; it’s just about making sure every rupee is accounted for. The address is way out in the Bangalore 99 area, so it’s a bit of a journey for me to get to work every morning. I like the feeling of being part of the work they do here. My office has a lot of filing cabinets and a computer that stays on all day long. I don’t have time for much else besides the books. It’s a lot of responsibility but I just take it one ledger at a time.
