Right on the Arabic College Main Road is where you will find us at Venkateshpuram. Having two shops, number 1 and 2, keeps the whole team pretty busy most of the time. It’s a bustling spot near Nagawara Sasane Nagar and the traffic noise from the street is almost never quiet. Most days start very early for us, usually getting everything ready before the afternoon heat sets in. Moving things around and checking what has arrived in the trucks is hard physical work, but it is part of the job. Because we have been in this part of Hadapsar for a long while now, we know the neighborhood well. The road gets quite dusty sometimes, especially during the dry months. We usually keep the doors open so people can just walk in and ask what they need without any fuss. There is no fancy office here, just our desks and some shelves full of stock. When the power goes out, we just sit outside on the steps for a bit until things come back on. It is a simple way of working. We try to keep things organized, but with two shops right next to each other, things can get a bit cluttered. Dealing with different traders and suppliers every single day is just how it goes. Nothing is too complicated here, just us doing our work day in and day out. We see a lot of regulars from the college area which keeps us busy.
