You’ll find Absolute Barbecue Pvt. Ltd. up on the first floor of the Anandha Vihar building. We are located right on the road in Journalist Colony at No 48. This place is usually pretty lively, especially in the evenings when everyone gets off work. We deal with grills and food all day long. It gets a bit smoky sometimes, but that’s what happens when you’re cooking over open flames. We aren't trying to be some five-star fancy establishment where you can't breathe. It’s more about the food and the people sitting around the tables. We’ve got a bunch of staff who have been here since the start. We mostly just focus on making sure the grills are hot and the food is ready when people sit down. It’s a lot of work behind the scenes, cleaning up and getting everything prepped in the mornings. Journalist Colony is a good spot for us, plenty of folks walking by. We don’t have some big mission statement or anything. We just open the doors, get the fires going, and hope people enjoy their meal. Sometimes it’s loud, sometimes we run out of a specific side dish, but we do what we can to keep things moving. It's a real kitchen with real people working hard. If you're in the area, you'll probably smell the charcoal before you see the sign. We’ve been at this for a while and the rhythm of the dinner rush is something we really know well now after all this time.
