Our place is located at 121/52 on 1st B Cross, just off Magadi Main Road, and if you know the traffic around there, you know it can be a real headache. A Y Garments International Pvt Ltd is basically a busy garment unit where there is always someone shouting over the noise of the sewing machines. We have rolls of cloth leaned up against almost every wall, and the cutting tables take up most of the floor space. Since we deal with international orders, the clocks on the wall are sometimes set to different times so we don't forget when to call people. It’s not a polished environment, and you’ll likely find loose threads on the floor and scraps of paper everywhere. The air smells like fresh cotton and machine oil most of the time. We have a small desk for paperwork, but it’s usually buried under samples and shipping forms. The workers here are mostly locals who walk to the 1st B Cross area every morning. We drink way too much coffee to keep up with the pace of the garment trade. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed because the delivery van gets stuck on Magadi Main Road, but we just deal with it as it happens. We aren't trying to be anything other than a hardworking shop making clothes. It is dusty and loud, but it is where we spend our whole day making things happen for the business.
