A R Viswanathan Co is based right here in Bangalore, Karnataka. We don't have a fancy complex or anything, just a regular space in the city. Bangalore has grown so much lately, it’s hard to keep up sometimes. I remember when things were much quieter around here. Now, there’s always the sound of traffic and construction outside the windows. Our office is a simple place. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of work to get through. It’s the kind of place where you can actually get things done without too many distractions or people bothering you. We don't go in for all those corporate meetings that take up all day. We just talk to each other and figure things out as they come. Most of us have been around for a while, so we know how the city works and where to go. It’s a bit of a trek to get here some days because of the silk board traffic or the metro work, but we make it on time mostly. The office doesn't have much in the way of art on the walls, just maybe a map and a calendar we got last year. We prefer it that way. It’s a workspace, plain and simple. We like being part of the Bangalore business scene, even if we are just a small part of it. We just do our work and go home to our families. It’s been our routine for years.
